    Overview

    Every Posting Cuteness portrait is a custom, made-to-order product. You upload one photo of your pet, we generate art from that photo in your chosen style, and we print and ship it to you as a physical piece. Because each portrait is personalized to your specific pet and order, our policy is built around a simple promise: you see and approve the artwork before we ever print it, and we keep working until the likeness is right.

    This policy explains how proofs and revisions work, what our money-back guarantee covers and exactly how to claim it, what is and isn't refundable for a personalized item, and how we handle items that arrive damaged, defective, or lost in transit. This policy is operated by Posting Cuteness, based in Sacramento, CA.

    How your order works — proof before print

    We do not print anything until you approve it. After you order, our team creates your portrait from your uploaded photo and sends you a digital proof to review, typically within 2 to 4 days. You look it over and tell us whether the likeness is right.

    • You receive a digital proof of your portrait, usually within 2 to 4 days of ordering (and after you've sent us a usable pet photo).
    • Nothing is printed until you approve that proof.
    • Once you approve, your framed piece ships within 3 to 5 business days. A rush option is available at checkout.
    • If you never approve a proof, no physical item is produced, and your order remains in the proof stage until you respond.

    Free unlimited revisions

    If the proof isn't quite right, just tell us what to change. Revisions are free and unlimited — there is no cap and no extra charge. We'll keep refining the artwork until you're happy with the likeness, before anything goes to print.

    To request a revision, reply to your proof email or contact us at support@postingcuteness.com with your order number and a clear description of what you'd like adjusted. The more specific you are about colors, markings, expression, or framing, the faster we can get it right.

    Our money-back likeness guarantee

    We stand behind every portrait. If we've worked through revisions and the artwork still doesn't capture your pet's likeness, you're entitled to a money-back refund under our guarantee. Because you approve a proof before we print, most concerns are resolved at the proof stage at no cost — but the guarantee is there if the result still isn't right for you.

    How to claim the guarantee:

    • Email support@postingcuteness.com within 30 days of delivery.
    • Include your order number, the name on the order, and a short explanation of why the likeness isn't right (photos are helpful for printed items).
    • We'll respond, work with you on a fix where possible, and — if it still isn't right — issue your refund to the original payment method.

    What is and isn't refundable for a custom item

    Because each portrait is personalized and made to order specifically for you, custom items are generally not eligible for return or refund simply due to a change of mind, the same way an off-the-shelf product would be. Our voluntary likeness guarantee and free unlimited revisions are designed to protect you well beyond that baseline.

    Refunds or remakes ARE available when:

    • The finished printed item arrives damaged or defective (see the section below).
    • The item is lost in transit and tracking confirms it did not arrive.
    • After revisions, the artwork still does not capture your pet's likeness, and you claim the guarantee within 30 days of delivery as described above.
    • We made an error on your order (for example, the wrong size, the wrong pet, or a fulfillment mistake on our end).

    Refunds are generally NOT available when:

    • You approved the proof and the printed item matches that approved proof, but you've simply changed your mind.
    • Concerns about likeness were never raised during the free revision process and the proof was approved as shown.
    • The issue is caused by a low-quality, blurry, or unsuitable photo you provided that we flagged or could not improve, after we gave you the chance to send a better one.
    • You request to cancel after your portrait has already been printed and shipped (digital proofs and unprinted orders can still be canceled — contact us).

    Consumer-law note: in many jurisdictions, statutory cancellation or "cooling-off" rights do not apply to goods that are custom-made or personalized to your specifications, and this policy reflects that. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you — and our money-back likeness guarantee and free unlimited revisions are offered voluntarily and intentionally go beyond what the law requires for a personalized product.

    Damaged, defective, or lost-in-transit items

    All orders ship free and tracked within the United States. If something goes wrong in production or delivery, we'll make it right with a replacement or a refund — you won't be charged for the fix. These remedies are separate from the likeness guarantee above and are not cut off by the likeness-refund window.

    • Damaged or defective on arrival: Contact support@postingcuteness.com within a reasonable time after delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We'll arrange a free reprint or, if you prefer, a refund.
    • Lost in transit: If tracking shows your order didn't arrive, contact us — there's no fixed deadline beyond reporting it within a reasonable time after the expected delivery window — and we'll investigate with the carrier and send a replacement or issue a refund.
    • Wrong or incorrect item: If you received the wrong size, wrong pet, or an item that doesn't match your approved proof, contact us and we'll correct it at no cost to you.

    Your free digital file

    Every order includes a free, full-resolution digital file of your finished portrait. Because the digital file is delivered electronically and is yours to keep, it is non-refundable once it has been delivered. A refund on a physical item under this policy applies to that physical product; it does not require you to give back a digital file you've already received, and any refund decision is handled on a case-by-case basis.

    How refunds are issued

    Approved refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment processor, and are returned to your original payment method (for example, the card or wallet you used at checkout). We do not store your card details — payments and refunds are handled securely by Stripe.

    • Once we approve and submit a refund, the money is returned to the original payment method used for the order.
    • Refunds are typically processed in 5–10 business days, to your original payment method; the exact timing depends on Stripe and your bank or card issuer.
    • We refund in the same currency and to the same method as the original payment; we cannot refund to a different card or account.
    • If your order included a rush upgrade or additional pets, any refund reflects the amounts actually paid for the affected items.
